First Look: Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez Basic Slip



Coming with a predominately white upper, this sneaker is then contrasted perfectly by orange hits on the midsole, stitching and tongue details. Rounded off with grey panels and a deep navy Swoosh, the colour palette is clean and minimal, allowing the silhouette to truly stand out.


Rather than the traditional lacing system, this Cortez has been updated with laceless design. The Slip-on sneaker is a welcome addition to the Cortez lineage. Rounded off with ‘House Shoe’ on the orange strap, this sneaker gives of a LA vibe that Kendrick is known for.

First Look: Nike Air Jordan 18 Retro - Black/Sport Royal


Coloured in the same OG theme that is a nod to the Washington Wizards, the sneaker is made of black suede across its upper with a removable shroud to hide its tongue and laces.


The sneaker is contrasted with metallic silver upper eyelets and royal blue for the lining and trimming. Final touches include flaps on the ankle that are inspired by the air vents of the Lamborghini Murcielago, while a blue midsole and black rubber sole tops it off.

First Look: Nike Air Jordan 6 'Tinker Hatfield'


Premium suede covers the upper of the Nike AJ6 ‘Tinker’. All the classic details make an appearance from the perforations across the sidewall to that visible Air Unit underfoot. Despite the old school appeal, this high-top promises the best in comfort and cushioning.


An oversized tongue makes the look even more eye-catching, featuring in a bold shade of red. As always, a toggle pull lets you pull the laces tighter. To complete the look, visible Jumpman branding gets stamped to the tongue and a robust heel clip sits at the rear.

First Look: PUMA x VOLCOM Debut Skate-Inspired Collection


PUMA and skate brand Volcom launch an exclusive skate-inspired sneaker pack for Billy’s ENT of Japan.

Paying homage to Japan's rise as a skateboarding nation, the PUMA X VOLCOM pack celebrates the sports debut in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Effortlessly balancing sports design with skate sensibilities, the retro-inspired CLYDE RT x VOLCOM FOR BLS draws inspiration from PUMA's vintage "Remo Spot" leopard design of the 90's. Adopting the Rubber Toe (RT) from the OG silhouette, the suede and luxe leather overlays along with the ghillies lacing system gives it a versatile finish. CLYDE x VOLCOM FOR BLS balances vintage appeal with modern design. The signature silhouette is rendered with Volcom's iconic graphic with a suede upper in monotone colourway.

First Look: Nike Air Jordan 10 Retro 'Tinker'


Painted in a multitude of hues, including ‘Racer Blue’, ‘Black’, ‘Team Orange’, and ‘White’, the Jordan 10 Tinker Blue pays homage to the OG ‘Ultramarine’ Nike Air Huarache Light with a similar theme.


Down below, a rubber outsole is present for added durability, making these perfect for the wet and windy months ahead.

First Look: Nike Air Max Deluxe Thunder Blue/Red


The Air Max Deluxe Navy Red features a neoprene fitted upper with thick fibres woven into the shell for structure. On top of this, it also boasts an exterior TPU shell for additional stability as well as a moulded heel unit.


Painted in a crazy black, blue, red, and white colour combination, the Air Max Deluxe Navy Red was made to turn heads, and 3M reflective detailing means that you can spot these heaters even in the dark.

First Look: PUMA x Polaroid Sneaker Pack


PUMA and consumer electronics powerhouse Polaroid is dropping the RS-0 and RS-100 Polaroid sneakers.

The collaborative pack is a fusion of PUMA’s all new RS-0 sneaker and design hints from the iconic Polaroid OneStep analog instant camera.

The RS-0 Polaroid sneaker is inspired by the game-changing Polaroid OneStep instant camera. The sneaker features a premium white leather upper, micro perf vents, 6mm flat, reflective laces and the iconic Polaroid Colour Spectrum graphic on the sneaker tongue.


The RS-100 Polaroid sneaker reimagines the 80’s RS-100 model with hints of photography elements. Between the two sneaker styles,  the RS-100 Polaroid is the OG silhouette, keeping true to the retro style. The re-issue features classic Polaroid  hues in colour-blocked style in suede and leather overlays, finished with a reflective detailing, a play on the ‘flash’ from a Polaroid camera. The iconic Polaroid Colour Spectrum graphic rainbow colours are used prominently, from the colourful outsole to the sneaker tongue.


Both shoes feature the PUMA and Polaroid branding found on the tongue label and footbed. For a nice touch, the shoes include a miniature version of a Polaroid instant photo in the Polaroid Classic Border Logo with co-branding used as a hangtag.


The sneaker pack will be available in-store on 27th October at PUMA SELECT stores and Shelflife. The RS-100 retails for R2 899 and the RS-0 retails for R2 999.

First Look: PUMA and Atelier New Regime’s Debut Collection



Upping the streetstyle game this season is PUMA and Atelier New Regime’s debut collection which has dropped on 6th October. Known for their modern designs influenced by French – English ethnicities of Montreal, the motorsport-inspired collection is adapted into streetwear-ready styles. With thoughtfully designed technical detailing, it features ANR’s signature bright orange with a modern, polished aesthetic.

For their debut collection, Atelier New Regime elevates seasonal staples by lending their design influence to a range of PUMA styles - from the classic Suede and Court Platform to the Basket Boot and TSUGI Jun. Characterised with rugged outsoles, reflective pullers and large rubberised logos, the collection tactfully blends the technical details of sports with street-ready styles. Ruling the pack is the Basket Boot ANR. Built with tonal neoprene upper, a waterproof branded zipper on the forefoot and rugged outsole, it drops in scarlet Ibis and PUMA Black colourways.


Completing the look book is a range of apparel picks with motorsport-inspired cut lines and oversized logo prints. The PUMA x ANR Pants with cargo pocket and PUMA x ANR Jacket with printed logo tape on the side seam is a must-have for motorsport enthusiasts.

adidas + KANYE WEST Drops the CALABASAS TRACK PANT




adidas + KANYE WEST announce the CALABASAS TRACK PANT. They will be available globally on October 13, 2018 with a recommended retail price of R1799.

The CALABASAS TRACK PANT will be available in two color options: Ink/Wolves and Luna/Wolves.



Constructed of double-knit polyester fabrication, featuring an elastic waistband with draw cord and zipped side pockets. Contrasting Three Stripes run down the side of the pant and ‘CALABASAS’ text is embedded on the leg.


The CALABASAS TRACK PANT will be available on online, adidas Originals stores in V&A Waterfront and Sandton, Shelflife e-com and Shelflife Cape Town and Rosebank.

First Look: Nike Air Force 1 Sage Debuts in Two Colourways




Nike reimagined the Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Sage with actual laces in the design.


The sneaker’s design has been tweaked to look more feminine. The upper is now made of smooth suede with leather accents, and also features a cleaner look with no stitching. Finally, the shoe is detailed with more height, featuring a wedge midsole in contrasting white, followed by new branding located on the heel tabs.



The Nike Air Force 1 Sage in Particle Beige and Black is available at selected retailers.

PUMA Drops Thunder Spectra in Two New Iterations


This season, Thunder returns to rule the streets as PUMA releases two new iterations of the Thunder Spectra for Men.

While the debut Thunder Spectra took on a bold statement with its retro colour blocking and neon pops, the latest iteration boasts of new colourways with a protective side wall, midfoot stabiliser and internal lace woven system. With a material mix of mesh, suede and leather overlays, these runway-worthy kicks balance the best of bold and tonal with drops in Drizzle – Steel Grey and Rhododendron - PUMA Black – Tawny Port.
